BKDMP won first prize in the Agent of Change category in the B2B Media Leaders of Influence competition. The ceremony took place on December 13 at the Peroto Literary Club at the National Palace of Culture.
The competition is organized for the second consecutive year by b2b Media and recognizes the best examples of positive influence and impact, looking for influencers who have established themselves as opinion leaders in various business and social spheres, and those individuals who defend important causes and succeed in inspiring others. Companies, organizations and media applied for the competition for a total of 24 categories.
BBCWFI is participating in this type of competition for the first time. The Chamber won first place in the Agent of Change category with the campaign “Bulgarian Furniture – Traditions and Innovations”, which has been successfully developing for the second year. The aim of the participation was to promote the achievements in the sector and to focus on the quality furniture that companies in Bulgaria produce. As part of the campaign, media trips were organized to enterprises in the country in Ruse, Targovishte, Kazanlak, Pazardzhik and Plovdiv. Hundreds of publications and interviews were carried out in the media, which showed the true face of the business – modern factories, good working conditions and furniture production that meets all modern requirements.
In addition, by participating in the competition, the Chamber aims to motivate its members to be more active, to openly share their successes and to promote the importance of the sector for the economic development of our country.

Among the winners of the competition were boxer Kubrat Pulev, who was elected public figure of the year, the rector of the UNWE, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, companies such as Vivacom, Postbank, Solvay Sodi, Svilosa, EVN Bulgaria Electricity Supply, as well as organizations: National Children’s Network, Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact, Chamber of Architects, etc.
