The trade between Bulgaria and Russia has increased by 35% in the first half of 2017. This was made clear during a meeting of Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bulgaria HE. Anatoly Makarov.
Minister Karanikolov and Ambassador Makarov discussed the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, both emphasizing the opportunities for their expansion and deepening. It was pointed out that since the beginning of the year there is a positive trend of increase of the bilateral trade, which in the first half of this year reached almost USD 2 billion. Ambassador Makarov stressed the positive trend and hoped to keep it up and grow. Minister Karanikolov, on his part, presented the measures for the promotion of investments as well as the opportunities in the industrial zones in our country.
