The Organized Debate between producers and designers from magazine Ideal Home, BBCWFI and Inter Expo Center took place on April 25, 2018, during the exhibition “The World of Furniture”.

Former guests of the forum took part the Deputy Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov, the chief architect of Sofia Zdravko Zdravkov, as well as representatives of the business – furniture producers, architectural and design studios, financial and insurance companies, media.

“The World Furniture and TechnoMebel exhibitions are forums of great importance to the sector” said Galin Gospodinov, chairman of BBCWFI’s Board of Directors. He stressed that within a week, industry representatives gather together, meet, share ideas, experiences, visions, and understand what trends are.

“The main goal is to make things better for the people and more comfortable and if we can add value through the design. Harmony is the way a person gets part of the design” English designer Robin Levin told the forum.

“The industry is very important to our economy. Export for 2017. of it amounts to 335 million euros” Deputy Economy Minister Lachezar Borisov said. He stressed that the Ministry of Economy always directs its efforts to improve the business environment in Bulgaria.

After a fruitful forum, the guests visited the World of Furniture exhibition to get acquainted with leading companies in the industry and the products they presented.

Business meetings with Bulgarian and foreign small and medium enterprises were organized and an official ceremony for awarding the prizes “House of the Year”.
